Terms and Conditions Governing Donations
Participation in this fundraising campaign constitutes acceptance of a standard-form agreement, the terms of which must be accepted in full and are not open to negotiation. If you do not agree with any of the terms governing the campaign, you must refrain from making a donation.
The information collected is required for the administration of your donation. It is processed electronically and used by Association Cathedra for administrative purposes. The only other recipient of this information will be the project owner whose work you have chosen to support, namely DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Under Articles 39 et seq. of the amended French Law of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access and rectify information concerning you, as well as the right to request its deletion. If you wish to exercise any of these rights or obtain details of the information held about you, please contact us.
Association Cathedra undertakes to allocate all or part of the donations received to another project for the preservation of Bordeaux Cathedral if the project has not proceeded within five years of the launch of this fundraising campaign, if it is not carried out in accordance with the project documentation submitted by the project owner and approved by the Association, or if the fundraising campaign remains inactive, with no funds received or disbursed, for a period of two years.
If the amount raised exceeds the share of funding remaining to be provided by the project owner, the surplus will be allocated to the options provided for as part of the reconstruction of the instrumental part of the Cathedral’s great organ, the restoration of its historic organ case, the restoration of the choir organ, the maintenance of the organs and the development of musical activities involving the instruments, or to another project for the preservation of Bordeaux Cathedral.
Association Cathedra undertakes to transfer the sums raised to the project owner, net of administrative costs.
Companies carrying out work on this project may not make donations qualifying for a tax reduction.
